Parker ATI Ultra Media ring panel filters use two-ply synthetic media for paint overspray capture in high-volume production environments. Graduated-denier fibers and an engineered face promote depth loading of liquid and solid overspray, while a needled back layer provides additional capture. The media is designed for high paint-holding capacity and can serve as a primary overspray filter or a second-stage product.
Ultra Media is used in aerospace, wood finishing, tier 1 and tier 2 automotive, and general metal finishing operations. It is suitable for commercial and industrial coatings, including high-solids, solvent-based and water-based paints and clear coats. The gradient-density media uses 100% polyester fibers, with white on the air-entering side and a dense needled purple layer on the air-leaving side.
- Media construction: 1-inch, two-ply polyester with graduated-denier fibers and a needled back layer.
- Airflow direction: white side entering; purple side leaving.
- MERV 8; ASHRAE 52.2-2012 media reference data for a 24 x 24-inch sample at 295 FPM: initial resistance 0.15 in. W.G.; final resistance 1.00 in. W.G.
