Parker ATI Ultra II MERV 8 polyester filter media is used in HVAC air handling systems and paint spray booth air intakes and exhaust. Graduated-denier construction places larger fibers in an open upstream layer, followed by a denser layer of finer fibers. This arrangement promotes depth loading and high dust-holding capacity to support longer service life and fewer changeouts. A needled downstream layer forms a final barrier to catch dirt particles.
The media uses 100% dual-stage polyester fibers, with white on the air-entering side and a dense green layer on the air-leaving side. A heavy application of pressure-sensitive tack retains collected dirt, while a non-migrating tackifier is applied on the air-leaving side. The Ultra II specification lists paint overspray, including powder coating, waterborne paint and primer, as well as sanding dust applications. Media is available as blankets and bulk rolls.
Media: 100% dual-stage polyester with graduated-denier construction.
Airflow direction: white side entering; green side leaving.
