The Parker DP40 high-capacity extended surface pleated filter is designed for HVAC air handling systems, including central station air handlers, rooftop units, side access housings, and built-up filter banks. It can also serve as a first-stage filter in multi-stage filtration systems. Its thermally bonded synthetic media and consistent pleat spacing help distribute dust across the media surface, supporting dust holding with low pressure drop.

A galvanized steel expanded support grid helps maintain pleat shape and prevent fluttering during operation. The two-piece beverage board frame overlaps around the perimeter for a double-wall edge, while water-repellent adhesive bonds the media pack to the frame and its support members. This construction helps the filter maintain its integrity in moisture-prone operating conditions.
