The Memtrex* FE (MFE) Filter Cartridge is a pleated hydrophobic PTFE membrane filter designed for gas, vent, and aggressive liquid applications. With absolute-rated pore sizes from 0.05 to 0.45 µm, the MFE filter provides broad chemical compatibility, minimal extractables, and consistent retention in solvents, acids, bases, and process gases. Typical uses include autoclave and fermenter vents, compressed air filtration, high-purity water systems, and aggressive solvent streams. Constructed in a cleanroom environment with thermal welding and no adhesives, each filter is integrity tested, FDA-compliant for food contact, and certified to USP Class VI. Total Filtration Services (TFS) supplies Memtrex* FE cartridges in lengths up to 40″ with multiple end-cap and gasket options to fit diverse systems.
