Parker LoadTECH 12-inch MERV 15/15A extended rigid cell filters use E-Pleat® media technology for HVAC filtration in hospitals, healthcare facilities, schools, universities and clean manufacturing facilities. The gold-tinted, 100% synthetic media has an embossed, two-layer gradient-density structure. Preformed channels guide air through the filter for even loading and full use of the media. Parker identifies this family for variable air volume systems.

Adhesive beads bond the pleats into a rigid pack. The high-impact polystyrene frame resists moisture, chemicals and corrosion, while foamed hot-melt adhesive seals the media pack to the frame to prevent bypass at that joint. The media resists tearing and abrasion; exposure to humidity or moisture may temporarily increase resistance. Low pressure drop supports reduced energy use, and high dust-holding capacity supports longer filter life and fewer changeouts.

The family includes box/no-header and single-header configurations in four nominal sizes. Single-header models have a 3/4 x 3/4-inch header on the air-entering side. Gaskets are optional, and special sizes are not available.

• Initial resistance at rated airflow: 0.29 in. W.G. for standard box models; 0.39 in. W.G. for standard single-header models.
• Media area: 73-146 sq. ft. for standard box models; 59-126 sq. ft. for standard single-header models.
• MERV 15 and MERV-A 15 per ASHRAE 52.2-2017 with Appendix J; performance testing at 492 FPM on a 24 x 24-inch face size.
• Rated face velocity: 500 FPM; recommended final resistance: 1.50 in. W.G.
• Continuous operating temperature: up to 170 degrees F.
• Classified per UL 900 for flammability.
