The Smith Filter Bonded A Lightweight Aluminum Washable Metal Air Filter is constructed from multiple layers of slit and expanded aluminum mesh bonded into a durable filter pad. This design provides low resistance, consistent airflow, and reliable particle retention while allowing the filter to be washed and reused. The rust-resistant aluminum frame is lightweight, roll-formed, and riveted for stability.

Suitable for a wide range of ventilation and equipment applications, the Bonded A filter is commonly used in ceiling vent fans, electronic equipment, computer room environments, kitchen exhaust systems, microwaves, wall heaters, and air cleaners. It is available in several thicknesses—from 1/8" to 1/2"—and can also be supplied as pads or roll media. The filter operates at temperatures up to 225°F, with clean resistance measured at 0.04" WG at 350 FPM.
