About this item

The FSP SPBLAM POLYLAM Polypropylene Laminate Media is a multi-layer spunbond polypropylene non-woven made from continuously extruded fibers that are point-bonded for added strength. This binder-free laminate provides good chemical compatibility, high tensile strength, and low cost, making it a practical material for applications that generate coarse particulate, such as machining and general industrial processes.

Naturally hydrophobic and oleophilic, the media supports surface filtration and performs well in dry operating environments. Its less uniform fiber structure is characteristic of spunbond materials and allows for dependable, commodity-grade performance across a variety of filtration and fabricated-component uses. Available in multiple basis weights, the SPBLAM series offers air permeability values ranging from 150–258 CFM to meet varying strength and airflow requirements.

  • Weight range: 1.50 – 3.00 OSY
  • Thickness: 14 – 26 mils
  • Grab strength (direct): 44 – >100
  • Air permeability: 150 – 258 CFM
  • Continuous fiber, pointbond construction
  • Good chemical compatibility and low cost
